ABOUT ANTONYM

Antonym is the commercial alias for Antony Crossfield - a freelance retoucher, CGI artist, illustrator and fine artist based in East London.

​

With over 30 years of experience in high-end post-production, Antony has collaborated with many of the world’s leading photographers and advertising agencies. He has played a key role as a retoucher on numerous major projects for renowned photographers Nadav Kander and Tim Flach, contributing to major advertising campaigns and high-profile publications. He has also worked with several leading retouching houses, serving a wide range of blue-chip brands and agencies.

Antony is also an exhibiting artist and photographer. His work has been recognised with multiple international awards, including First Prize in the Fine Art category of The British Photography Awards 2023, First Prize in the Sony World Photography Awards 2015, First Prize in the Terry O’Neill Award 2008, and Best in Book in the Creative Review Photography Annual 2014.

 

Antony studied MA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins and BA(Hons) Illustration at the University of Westminster.
